Who We Are and What We Do
Fashionft is an independent buying guide for fashion accessories, with a focus on bags, leather goods and travel accessories. We publish “best of” roundups and buying guides that help you choose pieces that hold up after the box is opened, not just in product photos.
We look past the styled shots to the details that decide how something wears over months of use: the leather, the stitching, the zippers, the hardware and the warranty behind it. Our goal is to help you buy something that fits how you actually carry, work and travel, so you don’t have to buy it twice.
Fashionft does not sell products, ship orders or handle returns. When you buy something we recommend, you buy it from the retailer, such as Amazon, and that retailer handles your order, shipping and any returns.

How We Research and Choose Products
Every guide starts with the details that are hard to judge from a photo. Depending on the category, we compare specifications, materials and construction: leather grade, stitching, hardware and zippers on a bag; wheels and shell material on a suitcase; lens and UV specs on sunglasses; movement type on a watch; and metal and plating on jewelry.
We also check brand reputation and warranty and return terms, read feedback from verified and long-term owners, check airline size limits for luggage, and weigh value for money. For each pick, we aim to explain who it is best for and who should skip it. When an editor has personal hands-on experience with a product, the article says so.

Fashionft was founded by Rhett Callaway, who also leads our handbags and backpacks coverage. Rhett and our six authors each own a separate category group, so every guide on Fashionft has one clear owner who is responsible for keeping it accurate and useful.
Rhett Callaway
Rhett Callaway writes about handbags and backpacks with a focus on what actually matters once the bag leaves the box: strap comfort, hardware durability, interior layout, and how well the shape holds up over time. He compares materials, construction details, and long-term owner feedback to separate well-made bags from ones that only look good in photos. Outside of work, Rhett spends his weekends exploring vintage leather shops and restoring old satchels.
